Core Pilates
Studio 191 West
Wednesday 8:00 (50min)
Saturday 9:00 (50min)| 11:00 (50min)
With Pilates at its core, ‘Core Pilates’ is a challenging, 50 minute torso strengthening, correcting and conditioning class. This workout connects with the pelvic floor, back, abdominals, intercostal muscles & hips. Basically everything from your nips to your hips. This class is dynamic, powerful and focused but it also knows how to have a good time. We called it Core because we believe this class should be at the centre of all of our workouts - we want to work from our body's powerhouse and move gracefully, risk free forever (well, we aim high).
yin yoga & nidra
Tula Yoga Bos en Lommer
Tuesday
20:00-21:15
Most types of yoga are active where we use our muscles to form asanas (postures). These are yang practices, like Ashtanga and Vinyasa. During a Yin practice we target the deeper tissues in the body by stretching which regulates the flow of energy. Most poses are practiced on the floor and we hold the poses for longer (usually 3-5 minutes), which is harder than it seems. If you prefer a more meditative style of yoga, this is it. This class ends with a Yoga Nidra session, which literally means “sleep for the yogi’s.” You will be totally relaxed at the end of this class.
Pilates/Pilates gentle flow
Thrive Yoga Oost / Celebestraat
Thursday 15:00-16:00 (Oost)
Friday 15:00-16:00 (Oost)
Friday 17:00-18:00 (Celeb)
Pilates Mat classes are a full body workout that create long, lean muscles. Pilates Mat is performed on a mat on the floor and achieves results by using gravity and your body's own resistance — and sometimes small props, such as the straps, balls or blocks.
During Pilates Gentle Flow we will focus more into alignment, mobility and flexibility.
Hot Yin Yoga
Hot Flow Yoga Rivierenbuurt
20:00-21:00
Thursday
Join me for a wonderfully grounding yin practice to harmonize your senses with this special candlelight yin. Hot Yin Yoga is a relaxing, passive and nurturing class where postures are held for 3-6 minutes at a time.
A therapeutic class, Yin is ideal for highly active people – runners, cyclists, regular yoga practitioners - as well as anyone wanting to release tightness in their body. You will leave feeling lighter, more flexible, and with a more open body, mind and heart.
restorative yoga
Tula Yoga Bos en Lommer
wednesday
18:30-19:45
A relaxing yoga class where we use bolsters, blocks and blankets to support the body completely. It is not about strengthening or stretching the body, but about total relaxation. By using all the props your body can completely surrender to gravity. If you are tired, overworked, sick or injured, this class will help you restore the body, allowing your nervous system to reset Each class will be a combination of restorative yoga poses, pranayama (breathing) and meditation exercises, and a long Savasana. This relaxing class is suitable for all ages, levels and bodies.
Power Pilates
The Cosmos Pijp
Friday
10:30-11:30
Power Pilates is based on the original Joseph Pilates method. This is 60 minutes of ultimate mat work with plenty of power. Prepare to feel the burn in all the right places with this specially targeted Pilates workout. Each class begins with a warm-up, fusing together a balanced mix of layered power Pilates sequences and ending with a sweet stretch. The Power Pilates method encompasses a large series of controlled, precise movements designed to stretch and strengthen muscle without adding bulk. Each exercise allows you to work on the deep postural muscles of the body, building strength from the inside out and rebalancing your muscular system. With a focus on fatiguing and building endurance of these key muscle groups, you’ll leave you feeling stronger, tighter and brighter - the mood boosting benefits of this workout are not to be forgotten!

Hatha Yoga
Thrive Yoga Oost
13:00-14:15
Friday
In this class you will learn yoga postures combined with breathing and relaxation exercises. It is a physical form of yoga, where you stand in the poses for a little longer. You therefore have plenty of time for learning the postures well and finding relaxation within a posture.
Sculpt
Studio 191 West
Wednesday 9:00 (50min)
Saturday 10:00 (50min)
Meet Sculpt – a contemporary take on the old school “legs, bums n tums”. However, we’re more “arms, ass and abs” chicks ourselves and so we’ve refined the workouts but kept the vibes high for this full body conditioning workout designed to sculpt, hone and tone every inch.
Focus on time-under-tension training, which isolates specific muscle groups that don’t normally get much attention. Improve posture, alignment and mobility. Each exercise is performed at different tempo variations which will enable full muscle fibre recruitment to help strengthen the muscle and improve range of movement.
All About
Karin Yoga Lab
I am a contemporary dancer and a teacher who felt in love with movement at a really young age.
I love art, music, dance, performances and ceremonies.
I practice Yoga and Pilates since I was doing my dance education as a contemporary dancer in Rome, at DAF Dance Arts Faculty and I discovered the Yoga philosophy while doing my Yoga studies.
All my background truly opened my mind and let me focus more on teaching and sharing with others what I have learned through my path...
I incorporate a variety of traditional practices in movement, breath, and meditation to help each student practice their own unique form of yoga. Are you ready to make a positive change in your lifestyle?
